This Day in Bonaventure History

January 15, 2000

The 1999-2000 season was a very eventful one for the St. Bonaventure Bonnies. Future NBA prospect J.R. Bremer helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish in the Atlantic 10 Tournament and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. 

But it was on this day that, as described by many longtime Bonaventure fans, one of the best games in the Reilly Center was played. 

The 13th ranked Temple Owls traveled to Western New York for a long-anticipated A10 matchup. After a long back-and-forth game, Bremer hit a three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left to give the Bonnies a 57-59 win over Temple
