St. Bonaventure University’s Student Government Association meeting began tonight with information on the upcoming March of Dimes and then moved into the beginning of club presentations.
The Bona Venture, Intramurals, Campus Activities Board (CAB), The Buzz, Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) and the sophomore, junior and senior class officers all took the floor.
Abby Harrington, SGA vice president, announced that $38,000 dollars altogether has been raised so far for the March of Dimes. A table for donations will be set up at Bonagany. Donations for the Diaper Drive will also be accepted at the table.
*Women’s lacrosse is in first place in campus fundraising for the March
*CAB’s yearly budget is down to about $77,000, and $14,229 has already been spent
*MERT is switching from paper PCRs to electronic ones
*200 Days will be Oct. 26 at the Rathskeller
*There will be a bus trip on Nov. 3 to Orchard Park, N.Y. for the Bills-Chiefs game
