Quick Hitters:
Victory: Bonnies erased a 12-point deficit with 8:26 remaining in the game. St. Bonaventure (14-6, 3-2) defeated Saint Louis (5-12, 0-4) 62-60.
Career-high: Nyla Rueter scored a career-high 22 points on 8 of 12 shooting. She had a big basket to put St. Bonaventure within one at the top of the key. Rueter also had four rebounds and four assists.
Big Buckets: Sophomores Emily Michael, Rueter and Katie Healy each had colossal baskets with under 3:30 minutes left in the second half. Healy gave the Bonnies the lead twice in the final two minutes.
Efficient Billikens: Saint Louis had 18 assists on 23 field goals. Saint Louis had 10 3-pointers.
Points off turnovers: Bonaventure had 14 points off 15 Saint Louis turnovers. Saint Louis had 10 points off nine Bonaventure turnovers.
Keeping them in it: Gabrielle Richmond had 14 points. Richmond shot 75 percent from the field. She had eight second-half points.
What’s Next: Bonnies travel to Rhode Island to take on the Rams Wednesday night.
