Stepping Up: With Gabrielle Richmond out (leg), Hannah Little scored 13 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. She made big buckets down the stretch after Katie Healy fouled out.
Dynamic Duo: Natasha Cloud and Sara Fairbanks combined for 38 points to pace Saint Joseph’s.
Raining Threes: The Bonnies hit a season high nine triples against Saint Joseph’s on Wednesday night. Chelsea Bowker tied a career high with six.
X-Factor: Speaking of Bowker — the Bonnies improve to 31-4 in her career when she scores 10 or more points. Bowker had 20 to lead all Bona scorers.
Shutdown Stopper: Emily Michael held Erin Rooney in check last Saturday; tonight she forced Erin Shields (averaging 16 points a game) to shoot 2 for 15 from the field. Michael has been a one of a kind on-ball defender this year.
Assist Numbers: Bonaventure had 11 assists on 23 field goals; the Hawks had 10 assists on 24 field goals.
Tale of Two Halves: The Bonnies struggled mightily from the line in the first half (6-16), but Bonaventure made 12 of 13 from the line in the second.
Next up: Bonaventure 18-6 (7-2) takes on UMass on Saturday at noon.
