The St. Bonaventure men’s and women’s basketball teams will be hosting their respective regular season openers on Nov. 13, sources told The Intrepid.
The women’s team will face the Siena Saints in the first round of the preseason NIT at 5:30 p.m. at the Reilly Center, followed by the men facing the Binghamton Bearcats at 8.
The Saints went 22-13 last season, making it to the Women’s Basketball Invitational (WBI) championship game. The Bearcats were 6-26 and lost 69-51 to the Bonnies in December.
Binghamton will be a tune-up game of sorts for the Bonnies, who will reportedly head to Syracuse on Nov. 17 (as first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports). The rest of the non-conference schedule is expected to be released later this month.
