The St. Bonaventure women’s basketball team hosts Richmond for a nationally televised game at home on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. The Bonnies are coming off of a 65-51 victory against St. Joseph’s on Wednesday and look to remain perfect inside the Reilly Center this season.

Richmond stands at 2-5 in the Atlantic 10 and has gone 4-11 over the last 15 games. The Spiders have three players averaging double-figure scoring, with junior Janelle Hubbard leading the way for her squad with 15.9 points per game. Sophomore guard Micaela Parson chips in 12.5 points a game and Lauren Tolson averaged 13.4 in eight games, though she has been out with an injury since December.

Richmond is ranked 13th in the A10 in scoring at 57 points per game. The Spiders have struggled on the boards this season, currently sitting last in the conference in rebounding. Despite starting out strong, the Bonnies have lost the battle of the boards during their last three games.

The brown and white will look to continue their strong offensive presence against the Spiders, who allow 60.2 points per contest. The duo of Nyla Rueter and Miranda Drummond is currently ranked first in the A-10 with 94 three-pointers on the season. Rueter’s 53 treys are second most in the league. Overall, SBU is shooting an A-10-best 39.5 percent from beyond the arc (7.8 per game).

Katie Healy’s consistent play and leadership on the court has helped fuel the Bonnies ongoing success. Often double-teamed, Healy has managed to register 14.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. She’s currently ranked seventh in the A-10 in shooting percentage at 51.1 percent. The senior is also delivering the ball well, notching 2.9 assists per game.
