Where do the Bona men’s and women’s basketball teams rank in each media outlet’s Monday bracketology update? Here are the latest projections:
Men:
ESPN- Joe Lunardi has the Bonnies in his “Last Four In,” currently playing UConn in the First Four in Dayton to be an 11-seed in the West region. The victory over St. Joe’s on Wednesday in Rochester put Bona in Lunardi’s field.
The Atlantic 10 currently has four teams in Lunardi’s tournament. Dayton is a seven seed, while St. Joe’s and VCU are nine seeds. George Washington, it’s worth noting, is in his “Next Four Out,” so the A-10 could possibly have five teams in with a good Colonials showing in Brooklyn this weekend.

CBS- Jerry Palm, who has consistently had SBU rated higher than Lunardi, has projected Mark Schmidt’s team as the eight seed in the East region against Oregon State. Palm has Dayton as a six, St. Joe’s as a nine and VCU as a ten.

USA Today- Shelby Mast has SBU as the tenth seed in the Midwest Region against Notre Dame. He has Dayton as a seven, St. Joe’s as an 11 and VCU in the First Four as an 11.
TeamRankings.com- Team Rankings has Bonaventure as a seven seed, with a 94 percent chance of making the tourney and an 86 percent chance of getting an at-large bid.

Women:
ESPN- Despite Friday’s loss in the A-10 Tournament quarterfinals to VCU, Charlie Creme still has the Bonnies in his “First Four Out.” Duquesne and George Washington are eight seeds.

College Sports Madness- College Sports Madness still has Bona in the field, in the “Last Eight In.” SBU gets a 12 seed in that bracket, while GW is a seven and Duquesne is a nine.

RealTime RPI: The RealTime RPI bracket still has the women in as well, as the ninth seed in the Spokane region. Duquesne is a seven, GW is a nine.

The men look to be in the Big Dance right now, while the women are hoping the selection committee agrees more with College Sports Madness and RealTime RPI than Creme. A week from tonight, we’ll know if both teams will be dancing for the first time since 2012.
