St. Bonaventure rising senior forward David Andoh is undergoing surgery today on a small fracture in his left foot and is expected to be ready for the 2016-17 season, sources tell The Intrepid.

The 6-foot-7 Andoh, who sat out last season due to NCAA transfer rules after transferring from Liberty, has been in a boot and going through physical therapy.

Bonaventure is the Montreal, Quebec native’s fourth school. He was Liberty’s second-leading scorer in 2014-15 with 10 points per game and ranked third on the squad in rebounds with 5.6 a contest. He started his college career at San Jose State, scoring 2.3 points a game as a freshman before transferring to Merritt College for the 2013-14 season.
